Cake Smash & Birthday Milestones Photography
A Cake Smash is a wonderfully fun way to celebrate your child's Birthday. It is a personalised portrait to commemorate (usually) a 1st or 2nd Birthday but really there is no age limit.
If you don't like the idea of cake I have also done mini cupcakes, mini donuts, fruit platters, spaghetti, edible paint and normal paint for older children on mini canvases. The possibilities are endless.
Often older siblings like to come along and help out during a cake smash. They can encourage by cheering on the little ones or get in the photos showing them how to smash up like a pro! Other friends and family are also very welcome to come along to celebrate.
If you like, after the smash, we can do a 'SPLASH' shoot too (no extra charge). We have a tin Bath filled with warm water and bubbles where the baby can rinse off all the cake and have a really good play. I like to use my bubble machine too. This gets great giggles and makes really cute photos!
Some children have sensitive skin so it's best if parents bring their own bubble bath.
